I'm Zeedith, legally Joshua Allen Thayer though I hope to change that to “Zeedith leges Quixim” In the future to distance myself from my parents. I'm a mildly narcissistic, chaotic neutral leaning chaotic evil, mostly sadistic with no masochism in my blood, and manipulative and scheming 16 year old from Leslie, Michigan diagnosed with ODD, UDD, and ADHD. I'm extremely progressive, libertarian, and pro-internationalism. I mostly hang around on my own websites but you may see me on Discord and/or Reddit if you look around. Among things that interest me a few things stand out: I like forging, swords, and electronics, and really, REALLY love elves along with catgirls to a slightly lower but still high degree. I value my independence and the free, open, internet and love getting involved with the indie web and other movements to take back the internet.

🎉 Tomarrow is my birthday! Yep, you heard it correctly. Tomorrow - October 25 2025 is my birthday. I’m turning 16! While there’s not much to say about it in this post I plan to update everyone with another blog post after the fact.
Downtime

You may have noticed some downtime on my site recently - no, it's not just you. But wait! Don't blame me. This recent outage wasn't caused by anything I did. It's the the number one cause of annoyance in teenagers - parents yelling at you to do shit 20 minutes after you wake up, then unplugging the internet when you don't do 4 things while still half asleep and catching up on the news. Now, yes - my site should have an LTE backup, however I got lazy and forgot to get a cell plan for it.
TLDR: The recent outages were caused by my idiotic shitty parents, not me. Blame them.
GoLang Rewrite and the hack

Well, you may have seen the giant "Site-wide alert" banner. Yeah, one of my servers was hacked - no, no user data was breached. Only internal files and a copy of the blog files(I had a backup) alongside some server logs were lost. Now, onto the main point - Go; After the hack I couldn't determine what part of the code was vulnerable or was exploited and thus decided to rewrite it from scratch. Now just doing PHP again would be boring, so... GoLang! GoLang is the perfect match, it's ~3X more efficient - and best of all a language I've never used before; So a new experince too! After the rewrite is finished you should see at least a halfing of the response time.

Introducing a new user dashboard! Manage your currently logged in devices, invalidate tokens, change settings with an even more fun and quirky settings toggles. Furthermore use debug tools like Force Reauth or log download to troubleshoot issues with your account! Just so amazing, not like I spent many-an-hour coding it, whatever the case create an account and explore this... interesting site. To your discretion of course.
