i feel like fedi has just become too much of posting exactly what others want to hear, getting renotes, likes and engagement is exactly the same story as it is on twitter, you have to deal with fediblocking bullshit all. the damn. time. and drama is all too common, and i feel like wanting to get my ideas out so quickly has caused them to come across different then I originally wanted. I miss the old days, when i felt like Fedi was giving the same amount of actual happiness back as I giving to it. But nowadays, it's just not the case anymore. and I feel like I play the good ol' Comparison Game way too often on here with other people, even if im not in their space to begin with. not to mention me boosting shit that i don't even like half the time just to "fit in" or "be accepted". I feel like a less Just Fedi and more of a Website/Matrix/Discord combo could work leagues better, not just for my online presence, but for my mental, social, and emotional health. And if people really did like what I say, they can just send me an actual email of thanks instead of these "likes" and "boosts" that really just numbers. Sorry again for ranting, I just needed to get all of this off my chest. Im gonna go back to being on the TL for now. And who knows, maybe Fedi can improve. also last night was really weird... i had a very weird dream in which i was running from someone, or something in the woods... but my left eye was open, so i could see myself running in the dream while simultaneuosly staring at the wall next to my bed. and i was FULLY PARALYZED which never happened to me before, and i couldn't move my arms and legs if i tried, but i wasn't scared, it actually felt kinda... nice? idk maybe a dragon was chasing me and making me feel good idk :blobfoxblushmore:
