ALLOW-UR DRAFT SUBJECT TO CHANGE --- By order of the royal crown this doctrine is to take affect in the great year of 3 and is to be titled the “Doctrine of the treatment of heroes and other-worlders” codized as §2 and is to amend the rules and regulations set in the first inaugural general doctrine of the kingdom of Sylven. §2.1.0.0 Definitions §2.1.1.0 Other-worlder §2.1.1.1 Hero A hero is a God-given(§5.1.1.2) who has been summoned by the kingdom to combat a demon king or demon lord. §2.1.1.2 God-given “God-given” or otherwise “the divine” are the terms used to refer to those given exceptional power by a deity(§5.1.2.0). §2.1.2.0 Deities (a) A god is a male deity. (b) A goddess is female deity. (c) A higher power is a generic term used to refer to a deity without gender or form. (d) Such deities must be able to bestow holy magic upon their followers. §2.1.2.1 False deities “False deities” or otherwise “Evil gods” are gods who are not classified as “true” deities and whose cannot practice holy magic. §2.1.2.2 Cults A cult is a church(§1.2.3) that worships a false deity(§5.1.2.1). §2.1.2.3 Church A church is a type of organization that worships a certain deity(§5.1.2.1). §2.1.3.0 Demons §2.1.3.1 Treatment of demons (a) During peacetime no discrimination shall take place against a demon for their race or appearance. (b) During war extra caution is allowed, however this must not interfere with the daily life of such demon or otherwise meaningfully decrease their quality of life. §2.1.3.2 Demon Kings A Demon king is a demon that rules over an area of land and has control over a meaningful majority of demons. Demon kings are often hostile to humanity. §2.1.3.3 Demon Lord While sometimes seen as the same as Demon kings(§5.1.3.2) demon lords actually differ from demon kings. A demon lord is simply a powerful demon unlike the aforementioned demon king. Demon lords are not inherently hostile to humans like demon kings. §2.1.4.0 The divine on the mortal plane §2.1.4.1 Type of the divine of the mortal plane (a) A hero(Previously defined in §5.1.1.1) is summoned expressly by the kingdom of their accord. (b) A divine emissary is sent without request by the kingdom by a deity(§5.1.2.0). (c) A born-blessed is a person born on the mortal plane already blessed by a deity(§5.1.2.0) (d) A blessed is a person born on the mortal plane and later blessed by a deity(§5.1.2.0) (e) A reborn is a god-given(§5.1.1.2) reborn into this world from another with a blessing at birth. §2.2.0.0 Other-worlders §2.2.1.0 The rights of Other-worlders and god-given §2.2.1.1 The rights of heroes (a) The heroes are a class of other-worlder summoned from another world by a state or kingdom. (b) Such heroes must attempt to save the world from the “Demon king” or make peace with a demon lord. §2.2.1.2 The rights of divine emissaries (a) The divine emissaries are a class of other-worlder that is sent to a kingdom similarly to a hero, however is not expressly summoned by the kingdom and is instead sent by a deity. (b) Such divine emissaries much attempt to save the world from the “Demon king” or make peace with a demon lord. Or otherwise carry out the objective given to them by their summoning deity. §2.2.1.3 The rights of the born-blessed (a) The born-blessed are a class of god-given and/or other-worlder who are given holy/divine powers at birth. (b) Such born-blessed have special rights such as that to lawfully act against cults apposing their god. §2.2.1.4 The rights of blessed (a) The blessed are a class of god-given and/or other-worlder who are given holy/divine powers after birth. (b) Such blessed have special rights such as that to lawfully act against cults apposing their god. §2.2.1.5 The rights of reborn (a) The reborn are a class of other-worlder who are reborn into this world from another. (b) Such reborn must follow the directive given to them by a deity or otherwise live out their life peacefully. §2.2.1.6 The rights of other types of God-given (a) While all types of the divine on the mortal plane(§2.1.4.1) are explicitly defined in §2.1.4.1(a-e) it is possible under the law for an undefined type of god-given to be treated. The following clauses apply to both defined and undefined types of other-worlder. (b) All of the divine must be treated with respect, due process and the right to request an audience with the king is allowed for such individuals. (c) All of the divine must be fair rights equal to or greater than the citizenry even if they belong to another nation. (d) Inclusive, all types of other-worlders on the moral plane must follow basic civilian laws such a not murdering without cause. The crimes of an other-worlder won’t be excused due to their status unless that crime is the explicit result of an other-worlder saving a town or village through a reasonable amount of force(e.g. Damaging buildings fighting a dragon). (e) Other-worlders shall not be forced to stay within the land of the kingdom, or otherwise answer royal summons. The freedom of an other-worlder is allowed and such other-worlders can travel to foreign nations forbidding that they don’t commit any crimes.
